Shia LaBeouf is the subject of a new interview in Variety. Among the points of interest in the interview is LaBeouf criticizing his work with Steven Spielberg and the revelation that he was nearly cast in Suicide Squad. However, one tidbit that couldn't go unmentioned is the news that LaBeouf got a host of new tattoos while shooting his new movie American Honey, including two Missy Elliott portraits on his knees.
Photographic evidence of his new ink is, sadly, unavailable but allow Shia to explain it all. "One of the things we’d do as a group, we’d all go to the fucking tattoo shop,” LaBeouf says. “I don’t love Missy Elliott like I wanna get two Missy Elliott tattoos, But you’re in a tattoo parlor, and” — he shrugs — “peer pressure.”
American Honey opens in cinemas on September 30.
