One of the back-up dancers in the "Single Ladies" video is a single lady no more. During her Formation world tour stop in St. Louis, Missouri, Beyoncé stopped her performance of "Single Ladies" for a surprise on-stage proposal. One of her back-up dancers, John Silver came to the stage to give a brief speech to his girlfriend, dance captain Ashley Everett.

“She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown," Silver said before getting on one knee and popping the question. Everett said yes, and the crowd exploded. After Beyoncé congratulated the newly-engaged couple, she cheekily remarked, "Now let’s see you do the choreography after that.” Everett didn't miss a step. Watch the proposal below.

Following the proposal, Everett went to Instagram to express her excitement for the engagement. "Shocked is an understatement. I'm so overly excited for this new chapter in our lives and of course I can't wait to be your WIFE!!!" Everett writes. She also added the hashtag '#helikeditsoheputaringonit' for good measure.
