Celebrated London club Fabric will play host to a debate over the future of nightlife in the U.K. later today. Boiler Room's "UK: Can Nightlife be Saved?" debate will be broadcast live online and will see club owners, politicians, and DJs discussing a situation that has seen 50 per cent of nightclubs in London close since 2008.

Panellists for the event include Emily Thornberry, MP for Islington South + Finsbury; Mirik Milan, Night Mayor of Amsterdam; DJs Goldie and Artwork; Bloc Festival's Alex Benson from Bloc Festival; Dance Tunnel owner Dan Beaumont; and Cameron Leslie, co-founder of Fabric.

Watch the debate live on Facebook or on Boiler Room from 2:30 p.m. BST (9:30 a.m. EST).
