Adidas has said the machine creation of the shoes is "providing greater precision, unique design opportunities and high performance." According to this Futurism report the shoe's bottom is a 3D-printed Boost midsole. For now there will only be 500 pairs coming out of the SPEEDFACTORY with aims for its production to go commercial in 2017.
