Listen To Elijah & Skilliam’s Grime 2016 Mega Mix
The British DJs have rounded up the best of the genre for this year’s compilation.
On October 28 Elijah and Skilliam, the U.K. DJs behind the Butterz label, will release Grime 2016. This year's edition of the annual compilation caps another big year for the genre, capped off by Skepta picking up the Mercury Prize for his album Konnichiwa.
Skepta appears multiple times on Grime 2016 with tracks from fellow heavyweights Kano, Stormzy, Dizzee Rascal, JME, D Double E, and Wiley also featuring across two CDs. AJ Tracey and Novelist lead the charge for the younger MCs with "Naila" and "Endz" respectively. Meanwhile Bugzy Malone, Mez, and Dapz On The Map show grime is thriving outside of London, just as it is in the capital.
