The first release from Prince since his death earlier this year will be a reissue of the 1984 classic Purple Rain. The album will arrive in April 2017 and a press release clarifies that the details of the reissue were “agreed [upon] with Prince before he passed away.” The album will arrive via NPG Records/Warner Bros and will include a second album of previously unreleased material.
