Vic Mensa's There's Alot Going On project, released in June, featured the Chicago rapper addressing many of the ongoing problems in his city. On "16 Shots," the first single from the project, Vic Mensa created a protest song around the brutal killing of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, who was shot sixteen times by a Chicago police officer in 2014. On Saturday, Vic Mensa marks the two-year anniversary of the killing with his new video for the track. In the Ace Norton-directed visual, Mensa faces off against police officers, as camera footage of the shooting of Laquan McDonald is interspersed throughout.
