Following a Trump victory Tuesday night, public demonstrations are taking place in a number of major American cities tonight protesting the results of the election. This afternoon, The FADER shared a guide to when and where those protests would be taking place.
Since earlier today, tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets in cities like New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, and other cities.
The protest in New York began tonight at 6 p.m. in Union Square, before making its way up to Trump Tower in Midtown. A number of celebrity participants, including Questlove, Cher, and Madonna, joined in the demonstration.
This afternoon, students in cities like Phoenix, Seattle, Oakland and Berkeley, CA also staged walk outs during school hours to protest the election results.
