Dave Chappelle Is Hosting Tonight’s Episode of Saturday Night Live

With A Tribe Called Quest as musical guest.

November 12, 2016

This weekend, Saturday Night Live will premiere its first post-election episode and they've tapped legendary comedian Dave Chappelle as host. Meanwhile, famed rap group A Tribe Called Quest will act as musical guest just two days after releasing their final album, We got it from Here, Thank You 4 Your Service.

It already looks like Chappelle's episode will be different from those of hosts past. For one, his appearance has been promoted with a sleek, single-camera clip that shows the comedian walking towards the stage to A Tribe Called Quest's classic jam "Can I Kick It?" Most hosts put together a series of 15 second clips alongside one of the SNL cast members. What's more, it appears that Chappelle may have begun working on this episode sooner than usual. Earlier today, Solange shared a picture of the two together at what appears to be last week's show, when she acted as musical guest. In fact, she's wearing her outfit for her performance of "Don't Touch My Hair."

At the end of the day, we won't know what to expect until the episode is actually on, so be sure to tune into NBC at 11:30pm ET for what will most likely be an unforgettable show.
