We're all pining for the bright, cheerful days of summer in ways we couldn't have imagined even a week ago, and Blond Ambition is here to push that bittersweet feeling even further in the video for "Shasta," premiering today on The FADER. The project of Brian Harding (formerly of Ex Cops), Blond Ambition's gently funky psych-folk is the ideal match for 8mm footage of surfers, skaters, and sunbathers taking in some coastal beauty.

"'Shasta' was recorded at the top of Mt. Washington during my first week as a resident of Los Angeles," Harding told The FADER over email. "I opened the door — the movie was now in color. 'Shasta' is and isn’t a person. It is whatever makes your life worth living and it delivers joy in darkness. 'Shasta' is why you get out of bed in the morning and who you end up with at night.”
