Earlier in July, French electronic duo Justice unveiled their first piece of music in five years on Annie Mac's radio show on BBC 1 — a single called "Safe and Sound." A few months later, members Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé announced that their next project would be called Woman and include the previously premiered single and another one entitled "Randy."
Yesterday, the duo released their third studio album Woman via Ed Banger Records and Because Music. The 10-track set of nostalgic electro-funk and disco features contributions from Diamond Nights' Morgan Phalen, Zoot Woman's Johnny Blake, as well as the London Contemporary Orchestra & Choir. According to BBC Radio 1, Justice has more in store, as their essential mix has been delayed and will premiere later on this year. Woman is the follow-up to 2011’s Audio, Video, Disco and Justice's debut album from 2007, †.
