Towards the end of the interview, just before the 26-minute mark, Chance revealed that he had begun work on his debut album. "I'll probably put out an album, that's what I've been thinking about, just between us," Chance told Semtex. "I don't know exactly the format every time when I'm making something but a lot of times I have an idea, and I think what I'm working on right now is an album." He also said that the album would come with its own live show, adding, "My mixtapes have been confused for albums for a long time so it has to be something different."
