London club Fabric will reopen its doors on January 6 2017, it has been confirmed. The club was ordered to cease trading after losing its license in September. The move came after the deaths of two teenage boys on the club's premises earlier this year.

However, the club came to an agreement with Islington council in north London and, as FACT reports, will resume service early next year. It is understood that a number of conditions have been set on Fabric's license, including increased security and surveillance measures. “It’s pretty much impossible for us to put a measure on just how much gratitude we are feeling right now to be able to announce our reopening proper,” the club said in a statement.

Line-up details for the opening weekend are unannounced at the moment, with the opening night being described as a "family and friends" bill. Tickets for the reopening weekend are on sale now.
