Chris Rock hopped on Facebook Live tonight to announce the Total Blackout Tour, his first full-scale world tour since 2008. Rock shared the news tonight from The Comedy Store in L.A., and tickets for select dates are already visible on Ticketmaster, with some presale available later this week.
"First time in nine years, OK?" Rock said, referencing his Kill the Messenger tour and HBO special. "I've been a little busy, you know, writing Pootie Tang 3 and everything," he joked, "but it's time."
Rock will reportedly film the first of two new specials on the tour, according to Rolling Stone. Those two will join three more specials from Rock's colleague Dave Chappelle on Netflix sometime in the near future. Watch the announcement below.
