Fans of both Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole have been clamouring for a collaborative record from the two rappers for years. While they've joined forces to rap on each other's songs for a pair of special "Black Friday" tracks, the full LP has never been confirmed. Until Friday, when Ab-Soul admitted during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, that the album exists. When reached over email by The FADER, Soul wrote "It's a myth" *joker smile*."

After a lot of sneaky prodding from Charlamagne, Ab-Soul finally revealed that he's recorded a verse for Cole and Kendrick's upcoming album. "There is [an album]. They got it. They got something in the works. They been working on that motherfucker for awhile." Soul did not reveal a release date, or how far along the pair are with the project.

Unfortunately, Ab-Soul was more ambiguous about the prospect of a Black Hippy record with ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Kendrick, and himself: "Don't even worry about that," he said.
