Mica Levi's next major film work will see her score a sci-fi thriller starring Jon Hamm and Geena Davis, FACT reports. Marjorie Prime will be the British composers third major title following Jackie and 2013's Under The Skin. The film is written and directed by Michael Almereyda and is scheduled for release in 2017.
Marjorie Prime stars Jon Hamm, Geena Davis, and Tim Robbins. It is based on a play by Jordan Harrison. In the film a service that provides holographic recreations of deceased loved ones allows a man (Robbins) to come face-to-face with the younger version of his late father-in-law (Hamm).
The film will premiere next month (December) at the Sundance Film Festival.
