Lil Uzi Vert was reportedly arrested following a dirt bike chase with the Atlanta police department, according to TMZ. The site has seen a local police report stating that Lil Uzi and a friend were riding dirt bikes on the night of December 8 when they raced the wrong way down a one-way street, drove on a sidewalk, and crossed five lanes of traffic without signaling.
According to the report the rapper attempted to get away from the officers but lost his balance and was forced to abandon his vehicle. He and his unnamed friend then tried to flee on foot but were caught and arrested by officers.
Uzi was then reportedly charged with obstruction, reckless driving, and not having a driver's license among other traffic violations. He was released on December 9 after posting $6,500 bail.
Representatives for Lil Uzi Vert did not immediately return a request for comment.
