During his secret show in Brooklyn on Friday, Kendrick Lamar took a break from performing to challenge a couple of fans from the crowd to a freestyle. One of the fans he brought on stage did surprisingly well, impressing Lamar with his bars, which you can watch in the video above around the 26-minute mark. While the guy is rapping, you can see Lamar walking around the stage with a grin on his face.
Later, Kendrick invites Kemba onstage, a fairly well-known New York rapper from the Bronx, for a short freestyle. Afterwards, Lamar remarks,"Kemba, remember that mother fucking name." Who knew Lamar had such a good eye for picking out talent?
