Michelle Obama is delivering her final remarks as First Lady of the United States on Friday at the 2017 School Counselor of the Year event in the East Room of the White House. The speech is part of an annual tradition started by the First Lady in 2015. Next week, Barack Obama will return to Chicago for his own farewell address at the city's McCormick Place.
