"Austrian Amnesia," the new video from Exit Someone premiering today on The FADER, channels both nostalgia and the thrill of discovery. The clip's 8mm film stock, coupled with the song's serene pop, evoke the comfort and reassurance of times past. But the action, featuring the Montreal duo wandering aimlessly around Berlin, dwells within a joyful disorientation.

In an email to The FADER, Exit Someone explained the video's thesis. "Everything goes dark, suddenly arriving in a different point in time. A stroke of the eye going back to the future. Is it possible to time travel using our consciousness? The video footage is our first timing shooting on 8mm film - shaky and real! Who are they looking for? Are they perhaps even the same person? Time will often repeat itself."

Dry Your Eyes, the new Exit Someone EP, is out January 17 on Atelier Ciseaux. Preorder it here.
