"Over the past year, we’ve been exploring different ways to make it simpler for people to find and use trends, Moments, and search," the company wrote in a blog post on Thursday. "During our research process, people told us that the new Explore tab helped them easily find news, what’s trending, and what’s popular right now."

The Explore tab will also streamline Twitter's recent live video ventures, which have included sporting events, presidential debates, most recently, Trump's inauguration. The new Explore tab is debuting on iOS on Thursday and on Android in the next few weeks.
