Per TMZ, a handful of music's biggest stars may be joining Frank Ocean in sitting out the Grammys ceremony this year. According to the report, Drake, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber will all be missing the February 12 show for a variety of reasons, despite garnering a combined 18 nominations.

Though details are vague, TMZ does claim to have inside information as to why Bieber won't be there, stating, "He just doesn't think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers." As for Drake, he'll be on the road in Europe for his Boy Meets World Tour.

The report doesn't offer any specifics on Kanye's reasoning, and as of now, none of the artists implicated have said they'll sit out the show as a form of protest, as in the case of Frank Ocean.

In his New York Times interview this Fall, Ocean noted that he had purposefully withheld his music from award consideration, citing a lack of representation for black artists, and describing the protest as his "Colin Kaepernick moment."
