Drake hopped on Instagram earlier tonight, fresh off the stage in Leeds, to share a thank you note from Barack Obama, commemorating a recent visit to the White House. The photo finds Drizzy (in some Timbs), Barack, Malia, and OVO buddies Oliver El-Khatib and Future the Prince hanging in the Oval Office.

"Got off stage and saw this in my email," Drake wrote on Instagram, before offering a quick message to the former president. "Hope you are somewhere at peace with the family. We miss ya g."

Obama has said he was a fan in the past, telling Sway that Drake was "unbelievably talented" and acknowledging that "the girls love Drake." After Obama's final address, Drake paid tribute with a goofy mash-up meme and a sincere message, saying, “I will always carry your words and the memory of your time in office with me as an inspiration.”

Fortunately, Obama has indeed been somewhere at peace with the family, and he's been kitesurfing with Richard Branson too.

In the meantime, Drake's been on the road for the Boy Meets World Tour, where he offered up some thoughts on Trump earlier this week, telling a London crowd, "If you think one man can tear this world apart, you’re out of your motherfucking mind."
