Spike Lee has been associated with Nike for years, beginning with a series of commercials starring the filmmaker and actor as "Mars Blackmon," a character from the 1986 film She's Gotta Have It. Today HotNewHipHop spotted that the Malcolm X director shared a picture of his Black History Month Air Jordan 1s on Instagram, customized to feature some digs at President Donald Trump. Painted on the sides of the shoes are "RESIST" and "REPEL AGENT ORANGE," a reference to the Trump insult coined by Busta Rhymes onstage during the 2017 Grammys performance with A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak.
