Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino phoned into Big Boy's Neighborhood on L.A.'s Real 92.3 to discuss his new album Awaken, My Love!, an upcoming role as Lando Calrissian in an upcoming Star Wars film, and a long-rumored collaboration with Chance The Rapper.
"We definitely met up," Glover said. "I don't know if I'll see him again now that he's won a Grammy. We'll see what happens. We actually sat down in the studio and were talking for a little bit. I mean we’re both busy but when he has like a moment we’ve just been sitting down and just working together. I think it’s about catching a vibe.”
Glover praised Chance's mixtape with Jeremih Merry Christmas Lil' Mama as a model he'd like follow. “I just wanna hang out with him. I don't work with people over email anymore. I think it just doesn't make for good work. We just have to find a time to sit down together.”
