U.K. Rap Collective 808INK Throw Shapes In Their “45 With Sam” Video

The duo want everyone out on the dancefloor.

With a sound that isn’t strictly hip-hop or grime, 808INK are making music that sounds like nothing else coming out of the U.K. Comprised of rapper Mumblez and producer 808Charmer, the south London trio draw inspiration from everything to heavy metal and cloudy house, labeling their sound "gully." Very much happy to reside within the outskirts of the U.K rap scene, they continue to strive in their own lane for the vibrant and party driven “45 With Sam" video, taken from their second album Hungry.

Bouncing over hazy synths and heavy 808s, they are joined by fellow south London rapper Sam Wise. In the video, the crew's good vibes are infectious, as they're joined by a crew of body-popping dancers. Speaking over email with The FADER, they explained their aim for the song: “This track is designed to have the ladies shaking their tail feathers on the dancefloor.” Watch the infectious video above.

808INK will be performing at the Kamio in London on the 4th of May, you can purchase tickets here.
