J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only Album Has Been Certified Platinum

J. Cole did it again — he went platinum with no features. Following, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, the album is the North Carolina rapper's second consecutive platinum album. Cole scored his fourth No. 1 debut when the album was released in December, and the record sold 492,000 units in its first week.

In March, J. Cole announced the upcoming release of his 4 Your Eyez Only documentary, which is set to premiere on April 15 at 10 p.m. EST on HBO. The film features musical performances from Cole, as well as stories from low-income residents in cities around the country, such as Baton Rouge, Atlanta, and Cole's hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
