Beyoncé Announced A New Scholarship For “Conscious And Confident” Women Students

Beyoncé has marked the one year anniversary of LEMONADE by announcing a scholarship to support young women who are “unafraid to think outside the box, bold, creative, conscious, and confident.”

Formation Scholars is a joint venture between Beyoncé and her management company, Parkwood. Four women will benefit from the during the 2017-2018 academic year with applications open now. Students at Howard University, Spelman, Berklee College of Music, and Parsons School of Design are eligible with applicants required to be incoming, current, or graduates studying creative arts, music, literature or African-American Studies.

Each school will have one scholarship to award. Further information is available at the schools.
