The Austin City Limits lineup was announced early in the day on Thursday. A few hours later, another name got added to the list – Jay Z.
The festival alluded to Jay's inclusion in the lineup by sending a push notification to those who have the official #ACLFEST app on their phone. The notification read. "Now, can I get an encore? Do you want more?" The lyric was a reference to Jay Z's megahit "Encore."

An hour after the notification was sent out, ACL tweeted out an updated lineup, this time including Jay Z as the top performer.
The rapper will join Chance the Rapper and Gorillaz as headliners for the Texas festival this October.
