RJ became one of the most exciting up-and-coming rappers out of Los Angeles with his O.M.M.I.O. mixtape trilogy. Now, he's teaming up with YG and DJ Mustard to release his new project, Mr. LA, via their 400 Summers imprint.
RJ's new video for "Brackin," which premieres on The FADER today, shows a raucous club filtered through red light. Towards the end of the clip, the DJ Mustard-produced track serves as a soundtrack for a fight scene. "To be "brackin" is to be lit without regards to approval or disbelief," RJ explained to The FADER over email. "For the video, I wanted to have fun with it and bring people into my world."
RJ's Mr. LA project is due out May 26 and is available for preorder now. Watch his new video for "Brackin" above.
