Based on a statement released yesterday, Comey is expected to disclose interactions with Donald Trump in which the President pressured him to show "loyalty" and drop investigations into former national security advisor Michael Flynn.

Trump fired Comey from his position in May. The appointment of his replacement, Christopher Wray, was announced on Wednesday.

The hearing is expected to last around three hours. The 15-member Senate Intelligence Committee will be led by Republican chairman Richard M. Burr.
