LCD Soundsystem Announces New Album American Dream

The band has also confirmed world tour dates in support of their fourth record.

LCD Soundsystem will release new album American Dream in September. The bands follow up to 2010's This Is Happening is their first since reuniting in 2015 after a five year break.

Earlier this year LCD Soundsystem shared new songs "call the police" and "american dream" ahead of a live residency in New York. The 10-track album will be released on September 1 via Columbia Records/DFA. Its tracklisting is as follows:

In support of the album LCD Soundsystem is to embark on an extensive world tour, bookended by two New York residencies at Brooklyn Steel: a seven-performance run spanning June 16-24 currently underway and a further ten-date run at the same venue on December 11-23.

They will also play U.K. headline shows in Manchester, Glasgow, and London as part of a raft of shows across Europe. Tickets for the UK shows go on sale this Wednesday, 21st June. Check LCDSoundsystem.com for further information.
