Vince Staples recently stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss, among other things, his new Big Fish Theory album. The interview began with Staples offering his opinion on the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, which didn't impress the Long Beach native.

After Charlamagne, referred to his Big Fish Theory album as "techno," Staples proceeded to give a history lesson of West Coast rap. “It ain’t new, people just don’t really know much about where they come from,” Staples said of the project's sound, referencing MC Frosty’s “Radio Activity Rapp” and Tha Dogg Pound’s “Cali Iz Active” as influences.
