Shia LaBeouf has issued an apology after footage surfaced of the actor telling a black cop that he's going to hell "because he's a black man." LaBeouf was arrested in Savannah, Georgia for public intoxication on Saturday, and the video that was released shows him being booked at the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

LaBeouf tweeted out his apology on Wednesday night, following the release of the video. "I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and make no excuses for it," he wrote. "I am certain that my actions warrant a very sincere apology to the arresting officers."
