Boosie Badazz's brother has been arrested on identity theft and fraud charges after stealing over $350,000 from his bank account, TMZ reports. Taquari Hatch was reportedly arrested last week after police discovered more than a dozen wire transfers made from Boosie's account without his knowledge.
According to the police report, Hatch was transferring money, up to $80,000 a time, to different people who would then give him the money back in cash. He is also accused of impersonating Boosie during a phone conversation with Capital One’s customer service team. TMZ reports that Hatch aroused suspicions after mentioning he had a wife while posing as his brother. Boosie is unmarried.
The Baton Rouge rapper first revealed he had been the victim of fraud back in October 2016. The FADER has contacted Boosie Badazz for comment.
