According to Netflix, viewership dropped by a whole whopping 10% of users during the eclipse. That wasn't the only major news, as a report by Forbes estimated that American productivity would suffer by $700 million. No one seemed to mind too much, as people stood staring at the sun all over the country, using cereal boxes, glasses, and even saltine crackers to see the outline of the sun.
