Sampha has won the 2017 Mercury Prize for his debut album Process. "This is incredible," he said onstage at the ceremony, in a speech he said he hadn't prepared for. "I'd like to dedicate this award to my parents...they just wanted to give us the best upbringing possible." He also performed "Nobody Knows Me Like The Piano (In My Mother's Home)."
