Travis Scott’s “Butterfly Effect” goes platinum

Travis Scott's latest single "Butterfly Effect" has been awarded platinum status by the RIAA, Billboard reports. The single was released in May and comes off the back of a similar sales record for his SZA collaboration, "Love Galore."


Scott, who is rumored to be about to become a father, has also seen his singles "biebs in the trap" and "goosebumps" go platinum in 2017. His two studio albums, Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight were both certified platinum on the same day in May.
