Weekend Update hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che took turns criticizing American gun control laws in their segment this weekend, highlighting the absurdity of the country's lawmakers who refuse to reassess gun control. They also reflected on Trump's absolutely bizarre behavior in Puerto Rico this past week.

In the cold opening, Alec Baldwin's portrayal of Trump touched on another aspect of his mishandling of the Puerto Rico crisis. In a call with Mayor Yulín Cruz, played by Melissa Villasenor, Trump's comments about Yulín Cruz were played out once again.
