Police say Yeargin was shot while he sat inside his car. No suspect has been identified.

Doughboyz Cashout was formed in Detroit's Southfield High School in 2006. The group released its debut album in 2012 Free Roc, a reference to Yeargin's incarceration. In 2013, Doughboyz Cashout signed with Young Jeezy's label CTE in 2013, though Roc revealed last year that the deal had dissolved amicably. Doughboy Roc's solo mixtapes include Ghetto Testimony, Beastmode, Loyalty is Everything, and 2016's Roc Vs Balboa.
