Montreal-based musician Alex Calder has been dropped from Captured Tracks after "an allegation of sexual assault." The record label announced its decision on Friday afternoon, adding that Calder's self-titled album, announced for an October 20 release, has been shelved. Read the statement in full below:

According to Stereogum, Calder has been removed from a number of upcoming concerts. The website also published a screenshot of tweets reportedly sent last night from Calder's Twitter account. The tweets have since been deleted.
