Lil Durk has quietly dropped two projects in the past six months — Supa Vultures with fellow Chicagoan Lil Reese, and a solo release titled Signed To The Streets 2.5 — and both of them are nuts. On each, he’s rapping and singing his ass off with his whole heart, and sounds more in tune with himself than ever before. There are even times when he recalls a Monster-era Future, perhaps attributable to recent production from Will a Fool.

In celebration of this recent turn-up from Durkio, here are a few of our favorite new cuts from Chicago's own.

"No Fear"

Over a grimacing beat from Don Cannon and Koji The Bandit, Lil Durk compares himself to the devil while stomping around in red bottoms and Margielas.

“The Story 2.5”

Durk opens the newest installment of Signed To The Streets with this insane, freestyled spill of the heart.

"Alotta Lotta" with Lil Reese

This song is so good it makes us wanna fight somebody.

“Basically FR”

Yes, that’s Young Thug you hear on the adlibs — the product of a birthday present from Jeffery to Durkio.

"Unstoppable" with Lil Reese

Chicago’s Splash Brothers hit nothing but net with this whole mixtape.

"India"

Lil Durk is undoubtedly the best singer of 2017, and we cannot wait for his inevitable R&B debut.

Since linking up for Thug’s 2016 project I’m Up, the insatiable spitters prove they have quite a bit of chemistry. Also, the way Durk sings “got a bad bitch and she biiiieiiieieieie” = ❤️
