The nominees for the 2018 Golden Globes have been released with Get Out, Daniel Kaluuya, Mudbound, Mary J. Blige, Denzel Washington, Stranger Things, Big Little Lies, and Insecure's Issa Rae all picking up nods.

Get Out is nominated for Best Picture – Comedy or Musical while Daniel Kaluuya will compete for the title of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Director Jordan Peele however, was shut out of the Best Director category.

The big hit, film wise, of the nominations were Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water, Steven Spielberg’s The Post, and Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. All three picked up nominations across the categories.

As for TV, HBO's star-studded drama Big Little Lies collected six nominations in total. Netflix's Stranger Things is up for Best Drama alongside Game Of Thrones and The Handmaid's Tale.

The 2018 Golden Globes will air on January 7 and will be hosted by Seth Meyers. See the nominees for major categories below.
