Watch Kendrick Lamar, Dave Chappelle, and U2 open up the 2018 Grammys

They performed “XXX.” from Kendrick’s DAMN. album.

After scoring three Grammy wins before the televised segment of the ceremony even started, Kendrick Lamar took the stage to perform songs from his DAMN. album, which is nominated for Album of the Year. The Compton rapper ran through a medley of songs from the project, including "XXX.," for which he was joined by U2, "DNA.," and more.

In between songs, Dave Chappelle came out on stage. "The only thing more frightening than watching a black man being honest in America is a being a black man being honest in America,” he said before Kendrick took the stage once again. Watch the medley here.
