Ray Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451 is set in a dystopian future where books are not only outlawed, but burned by a task-force of torch-wielding guards. Michael B. Jordan, still breaking box-office records as part of the Black Panther cast, plays one of these firemen in HBO's upcoming adaptation of the 1953 original.
In the trailer, which you can see above, Jordan is shown having second thoughts about his role in society after being introduced to the importance of the written word. It's not long until he is starting to question the government which has outlawed them either.
Fahrenheit 451 also stars Michael Shannon and is directed by 99 Homes director Ramin Bahrani. Check out the trailer above before it hits screens in May.
