Opening Ceremony took to Disneyland for their Spring 18 presentation

Toon Town was taken over for Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday.

Opening Ceremony opted out of NYFW for their Spring 18 collection and instead flew across the country, hopped out of LAX, and drove a quick hour southeast to Disneyland. The brand took over Toon Town for their collection that celebrated the real icon of the Happiest Place on Earth — Mickey Mouse.

The show opened like a typical Disneyland parade, only with 100 percent less screaming children and exhausted parents. Models wore rainbow glitter halos around their eyes, intricate Disney nail-art, and tiny hair buns made to look like — wait for it — ears, while the collection itself was full of the bright optimism that's only possible with the help of a 90-year-old mouse.
