Britney Spears is the new face of KENZO

Denim, tigers, and the queen of pop — oh, my!

KENZO began teasing the newest face for its La Collection Memento 2 campaign a few days ago, giving us only glimpses of a smile obscured by cascading blonde locks. But it wasn't enough to fool those with a keen eye, who immediately knew that the golden tresses could only belong to one queen of pop — Britney Spears.

Today, the French fashion house made their big reveal, announcing Britney as the official face of the collection which was inspired by the line's 1986 Paris runway debut of KENZO Jeans. Denim reigns supreme in La Collection Memento 2, and so far we've seen full-bodied denim trenchcoat, a fresh take on spring florals that opt for bamboo and tigers, and the iconic Japanese woodblock print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa."

The collection was shot by Peter Lindbergh, a legend in his own right and whose iconic British Vogue cover of Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Tatiana Patiz and Christy Turlington set off the ’90s craze of the supermodel. The brand is also launching a #kenzolovesbritney hashtag to which we say, get in line.
