K-pop musician Seo Minwoo dead at 33

Seo Minwoo, a member of the K-pop group 100%, has died. He was 33. The singer's label, TOP Media, confirmed the news and report that he was found at home on the evening of March 25. It is reported that the cause of death is cardiac arrest.

TOP Media paid tribute to Minwoo in a post in their official website: “His family, the 100% members, and the Top Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news.” Minwoo’s family have requested a private funeral.

100% first emerged in 2012 and have released five albums, two in the Korean language and three in Japanese. Minwoo was most recently featured on the band's Japanese EP Song For You in February.

In 2014 Minwoo took a break from the group to complete mandatory military service. He had also worked as an actor, making multiple appearances across Korean cinema and TV.

100% is due to perform in Tokyo and Osaka at the end of April. Top Media has not confirmed if the shows will go ahead.
