Chance The Rapper has joined the cast of the upcoming animated film Trolls 2, according to a report in Variety. The lineup for the sequel also includes Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, and Sam Rockwell. Chance will also contribute to songs on the film's soundtrack. Trolls 2 is in theaters April 17, 2020.

Speaking of trolls, Chance recently came to Kanye West's defense and was thanked by Donald Trump for his tweet "Black people don't have to be democrats" (he later apologized).
