Donald Glover won’t tell TMZ what “This Is America” is about

Childish Gambino's new song and accompanying video "This Is America" has generated a massive amount of conversation since it was released Saturday night, from breakdowns of possible references to thoughtful criticism, but Gambino himself is letting the work speak for itself, at least in the context of extremely quick paparazzi interviews. On Wednesday, TMZ asked Donald Glover to weigh in as he left Stevie Wonder's birthday in Los Angeles.

"That's not for me to say," Glover responded before entering a car and being driven away.
